Their plug ins are great, hands down but service is questionable spoke to Sweetwater by email and got a discount student rate within 24 hours, if you go to Sweetwater and just ask them they will help you, well they did me. The only way I got boo out of URS was the threaten to tell people the truth about my experience, then I get a email from Bobby Nathan that claims that because I threaten URS by talking about my experience or lack of service with their so called Academic policy, I will not be getting one. I have delt Waves, Mcdsp, Melodyne, Digidesign, ect, ect.Never ever had a issue. If they think you are not they just ignore you.Īfter sending 5 emails to 3 different email address provided by URS also given to me by Bobby himself I could not get a response from them. From my experience their academic policy depends if they think you are a student not actually if you are. I had a very different experience with URS and the lovely Bobby Nathan and their claimed Academic policy. Wish I'd cottoned onto academic pricing years ago.
